The Administrative Assistant's primary responsibility is to ensure that patient care and business operations run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have insurance billing and administrative experience, be well-organized, resourceful, self-motivated, have good customer service etiquette, and knowledge of HIPAA privacy laws. Administrative Assistant is to answer calls, collect new client information, verify insurance benefits, schedule appointments, resolve billing and claim issues, and other duties as needed by the Owner/CEO (e.g., recruitment assistance, writing letters, reports, creating forms).

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Associate degree in Business Administration preferred.

  • 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands

  • High degree of attention to detail

  • Data entry experience

  • Working knowledge of general office equipment
